What Is an eVisit Good For?
- Appropriate follow-up appointments — checking in on a condition your provider is already managing
- Prescription refills — renewals of existing dermatology medications
- Rashes and non-emergency skin concerns — new or changing rashes that don't require an in-person exam
Photos & Privacy
Your provider may request photos of the affected area to evaluate your concern. Please be aware that standard text messaging is not a secure, encrypted channel — only send images and information you are comfortable transmitting by text.

What conditions can be treated by telehealth?
eVisits work well for appropriate follow-up appointments, prescription refills, rashes, and other non-emergency skin concerns. Some conditions require an in-person exam, and your provider will let you know if an office visit is needed. eVisits are never appropriate for emergencies — call 911 for any medical emergency.
Is an eVisit covered by insurance?
